(Photo by by Apichit Jinakul)Actress Napapa "Patt" Tantrakul will not be prosecuted for abetting drug-related offences and accepting assets supporting wrongdoing -- two charges faced by her husband "Benz Racing", the secretary-general of the Narcotics Control Board said on Tuesday. If she had received the 1.9-million-baht sum in one transfer, she would have been suspected of abetting drug offences and accepting illicit assets, Mr Sirinya added. The man known as "Benz Racing" was earlier charged with laundering drug money and conspiracy to launder money, offences carrying prison terms of 1-10 years and/or a fine of 20,000-200,000 baht. On May 15 Ms Napapa reported to police to acknowledge charges of money laundering and conspiracy to launder money in relation to the 1.9-million-baht sum.
